Hi there, just a quick message:

For more than a month the site has been down, due to my host (THE WEB HOSTING FACTORY) totally disappearing and leaving me (and Robyn, Diskobox.net) in the lurch. Anywho, as you can see, the site is back.

Some of you (esp. in N. America) may notice that the site runs a bit slower, this is because the servers are in Hong Kong, apologies for this, but obviously I cannot do anything about it. With my new host, we'll see the loss of the Chat room; I know it wasn't exactly brimming with chatters, but I spoke to a fair few ppl over the months it was up. The reason for this is that I'm only allowed one MySQL database, and the Forum requires it, so that takes precedence.  I think I'll give out my msn address in the future so we can use Messenger if anyone fancies a chat; email me if you do.

When I realised that my host was starting to disappear, I backed-up the Forum, however, I forgot to make a copy of the database, so all posts, member accounts etc has gone - we're back to step 1. Not the end of the world, i know, but its still "d'oh!" on my part!

The latest addition to the site is The Sea Change Art (Interpretation) Project which some of you BBS-goers may have noticed. I put this up on some other webspace I had, temporarily, but its now on here. There is more info if you'd like to take part on the SCAP page itself.

One last thing - all contributions are welcome here - if you've made a wallpaper (or possibly some artwork which we could make into a wallpaper), screensaver etc or have any ideas for the site, then please do send them my way & I'll add them if appropriate. Even I run out of ideas sometimes!

Also, if anyone notices any problems with the site, I'd appreciate you letting me know. I cant always check things properly when I'm looking with my own computer, for various reasons.
